Are there non-smoking Cruises? |

Answer:
Windjammer Cruises may be the only major cruise line Smoking is a policy decided by each cruise line, and should be on your list of inquiries, whether you are a smoker or not. The vast majority of cruise lines allow smoking in the cabins, but prohibit it in the dining room areas. In general, smoking is allowed in open areas of a ship, and is permitted in certain designated sections. You can expect to see the no smoking sign in hallways, the main show lounges, dining room areas and elevators. There are designated areas for cigar and pipe smokers on some cruise lines. The cruise lines try to make the environment safe and comfortable for both smoker and non- smokers alike. Doing the proper research can make all the difference in the world between having a fun vacation; or one that is plagued by irritations that cannot be controlled. It is all a matter of balancing the rights of each individual, and the cruise lines seem to be doing a good job of it.
