What are the main Cruise Ship Ports in Texas?

Answer:
Texas has two main cruise ship ports: the Port of Galveston and the Port of Houston.
The Port of Galveston is located on the northern part of the Texas coast, leading out to Galveston Bay.  The Port of Galveston is located very near Scholes International Airport, by way of Seawall Blvd. and Rosenburg St.  Choose to stay at the Ramada Limited Galveston, the Holiday Inn Galveston, or Tremont House – a Wyndham, among many, many other hotels and motels.

The Port of Houston, with the new Bayport Cruise Terminal opening in 2008, is nearest to the William P. Hobby Airport.  It is also located about 45 minutes from Bush Intercontinental Airport, on the east side of the City of Houston.  If you are leaving from the Port of Houston, you can stay at many hotels nearby, including the Plaza Hotel, the Garden Suites La Porte, and the Holiday Inn Express Suites La Porte, all located within two miles of the port.  There are also many informative and enjoyable tours of the port available.
