Independence of the Seas will be, along with her sister ship Freedom of the Seas, the largest cruise ship in the world. The ship will sport a Flowrider surfing pool, an ice skating rink, a boxing ring, a rock-climbing wall, along with the more common spa and gym. The ship will have a wireless Internet connection throughout the ship, and flat screen TVs in every stateroom.

Cons: Although it is hard to predict what the cons of the ship will be before it is launched, there are some problems that are common to ships this size. Some will likely feel that the ship is impersonal because of its size. In addition, some smaller ports cannot or will not dock ships this size.
