a rock climbing wall, (rock climbing with an ocean view!) The food is good and the servers are polite and accommodating. Most of the ship is kept very clean. The children's programs are great and kids are kept busy and entertained.

Cons: Fares are full price for babies even under a year old. Staterooms are small and room stewards can be hard to find. The Monarch of the Seas is an older ship and has some strange odors – some places smell strongly like cigarettes and some smells are harder to identify. There is a lot of pressure from staff to purchase overpriced photos.
