Where can I get a Passport in Florida?

Answer:
If you're looking to get a passport in Florida,
the procedure is much like every other state.  The best and most probable location is at your local post office.  You may also want to check with your local or county courthouse, and other municipal or county offices.  Go to Google Maps and type in your Florida city name + Post Office and hit search. The length of time it takes will depend on how quickly you need it, and if it's your first time, or if you're looking to renew your present passport.

Proof of citizenships is necessary, and will require a valid Birth Certificate.  Two identical photos with a white background are also a requirement to get a passport in Florida.  To be on the safe side, it's best to get the passport photos taken at a place that specializes in these types of photos.  Depending on your situation, the DS-11 or DS-82 forms will also apply.

Check the cost of getting a Florida passport with your local principalities.  In most cases, you'll be able to pay with check, debit card, or credit. If you want to expedite things, it may be possible by paying an additional fee.  Check to see if there is a slow season. Generally, you may be able to speed things up if you apply in September or December.
