What is a Non-Stop Flight?

Answer:
A non-stop flight is generally one in which
there are no intermediate stops along the way. A direct flight is often mistaken for a non-stop flight by many nonprofessionals. A direct flight is a flight between two points with no change in the flight number.  An ultra-long flight, non-stop flight, is considered to be more than 11000 km or greater in length, and over 12 hours with no intermediate stops.

An example of an ultra long non-stop flight is the flight from Singapore to Newark.  At present, it may be the world's longest. You can expect a non-stop flight to be lengthy, and the passengers that fly them are usually used to the challenge of being in the air for such a long time. If you are thinking of taking a non-stop flight for the first time, or even if you are a seasoned veteran, you should plan on taking advantage of all the amenities provided by the airlines.

On a non-stop flight, there is usually is enough time to relax for a lengthy period, get caught up on a book you may have been putting off, watch a movie or two, sleep, and socialize.  Other amenities may include great meals, communication and entertainment, and the ability to stay connected through email and text messages from personal in-seat entertainment systems.  A non-stop flight can be an entire adventure within itself.
